My Favorite Memory

My favorite memory with my father is when I was a little girl and he took me and my siblings in our beat up old van ,got us McDonald’s, and  took us to a field by some houses and we had an impromptu picnic. I loved that day me and my siblings ran around and picked flowers. It was so much fun that we didn’t want to leave :D  I don’t know what motivated him to do that ,and he never did it again, but it was something that has stuck with me.  I love my Daddy.

This character is very close to my heart because I feel so much that her thoughts are exactly like mine. When I heard this quote it hit me hard just how true that is. This quote is the closest I’ve ever come to finding something that truly expresses what I’ve felt all my life. Its sad I know but I don’t mean it to be.  Ive always felt like an old soul connected to the weirdest things and it makes me wonder if God put people like us on this earth to remind us in the beauty of things past and the simplicity of life back then.  God doesn’t make mistakes so I guess I belong here. Still having trouble finding my purpose and place but it’s got to be out there somewhere.  What would I have been if I wasn’t born now? Would I have been happier? 

The truth is where will I feel comfort in my own skin? What is my place? Who am I supposed to be? I guess I’ll try everything to figure out my purpose but until then I am at a discomfort in my own skin, trying to find the right time for me.
